The elective programme offered students the opportunity to undertake observational clinical rotations in international healthcare systems, enabling exposure to Global Health practice and diverse models of care. Upon completion of the electives, students were required to return to Makerere University to complete their studies leading to the award of the Bachelor’s Degrees in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB).
Eligibility Criteria
Students who met the following requirements were encouraged to apply:

A minimum CGPA of 3.6 on normal academic progress (no retakes)
