MUMSA is the oldest student led association at the greatest hill of endless possibilities and in Uganda at large. It came into existence in 1972 thus currently with 52 years of positive transformation.
This great association has a rich network of Alumni that have shaped the health sector both locally and globally. Its unheard of to mention substantial and prominent persons of substance in Uganda without having been associated with MUMSA.
For clarity, not only in the medical spheres but in all spheres of life for example governance, academia, research and social transformation. Some of our alumni in these categories are Prof. Nelson Sewankambo, Hon. Jane Ruth Acheng, Dr Sabrina Kitaka, Prof David Meya, Prof Pauline Byakika, Prof Robert Kalyesubula among others.
The association has not only over the years transformed the welfare of the member students but also had a positive impact in the communities through medical camps, blood donation, career guidance and health advocacy which have positive changed the livelihoods of the people in Uganda and globally.
