The Makerere University Non-Communicable Diseases Research Training Program (MakNCD), based at the College of Health Sciences (MakCHS), invites applications for Master’s-level training opportunities in non-communicable diseases research.
The program is a multidisciplinary, capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening NCD research, prevention, and management in Uganda and the wider sub-Saharan Africa region. Training opportunities are available in Public Health, Business Administration, and Monitoring and Evaluation, with a strong focus on health systems, policy, and implementation science.
Selected candidates will receive MakNCD-supported training, including research mentorship, access to professional networks, and possible tuition or partial financial support, subject to availability.
