Applications are now open for a Short Course in Molecular Diagnostics, designed to equip participants with practical laboratory skills and foundational knowledge in molecular biology and diagnostic techniques.
🎯 Course Objectives
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

Understand nucleic acid structure and function

Appreciate the design and workflow of molecular diagnostics laboratories

Identify key instruments used in molecular diagnostics

Work with common laboratory reagents and supplies

Perform nucleic acid extraction techniques
-
Prepare PCR reagents and set up PCR reactions
-
Prepare and run gel electrophoresis and interpret DNA bands
-
Apply contamination control and quality assurance practices
-
Understand clinical applications of PCR and molecular diagnostics
