Makerere College of Health Sciences Hosts Centennial Alumni Dinner
Makerere University College of Health Sciences hosted a prestigious Centennial Alumni Dinner in Kampala as part of activities marking 100 years of training health professionals in Uganda.
The black-tie event took place at Hotel Africana and brought together alumni, students, researchers, and partners to celebrate the college’s legacy under the theme “Celebrating a Century of Excellence, Shaping the Future.”
The dinner also served as a fundraising event to support the refurbishment of the historic Davies Lecture Theatre, helping strengthen the learning environment for future generations of health professionals.
The celebration forms part of a series of centennial activities recognizing the institution’s contribution to medical training, research, and innovation in Uganda and across Africa.
