The College of Health Sciences (CHS), Makerere University is now accepting applications for the Clinical Sub-Specialty Training Fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
Program Summary:
This is a two-year Clinical Training Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the College of Health Sciences, Makerere University, accredited by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council. The program follows a competency-based curriculum that covers the entire scope of interventional radiology, a medical subspecialty utilizing minimally invasive methods with the guide of imaging to aid diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of various vascular and non-vascular disease conditions.
Upon successful completion of the two-year specialized clinical and research training, trainees will receive a Clinical Fellowship Certificate in Interventional Radiology.
Eligibility:
- Completion of a Master of Medicine in Diagnostic Radiology or equivalent.
- Current registration and a valid license to practice Radiology in Uganda, or eligibility for registration in Uganda.
- Demonstrated interest in developing a career in Interventional Radiology.
