The Dean of the School of Medicine, Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS), invites members of the university community, partners, and the general public to save the date for the upcoming PhD defense of Dr. Caroline Birungi.

Dr. Birungi will defend her doctoral thesis titled:

“Risky sexual behavior among individuals with severe mental illness in Uganda: Prevalence, correlates, perceptions, and effectiveness of risky sexual behavior reduction intervention.”

This important scholarly work contributes to the understanding of sexual health risks among individuals with severe mental illness in Uganda and evaluates interventions aimed at reducing such risks.
