Phillip is pursuing his PhD through a collaborative program between Makerere University and the Department of Global Public Health, Karolinska Institutet (Sweden).

“Intrapartum-Related Adverse Perinatal Outcomes: Burden, Consequences, and Models of Care from Studies in Eastern Uganda”

This important research addresses critical issues affecting maternal and newborn health in Uganda, offering evidence-based models of care to improve outcomes.
