REQUIREMENTS:
- An accepted abstract for Ubuntu 2024
- Provide your own travel to Cape Town, accommodation and living expenses
- You have a financial disadvantage (proof will need to be provided)
- Priority is given to applicants from rural or underserved areas / applicants from underrepresented backgrounds / students and early career professionals
- Not eligible if you have received grants and/or scholarships from Rural WONCA/WONCA or TUFH in the past
You must provide the following documents in this application:
- Statement of cost for your attendance to the conference (travel, accommodation, living expenses)
- Income statements, expense receipts, proof of financial disadvantage (if any)
- Proof of residency or employment in rural/underserved areas (if applicable)
- Statement addressing underrepresented background (if applicable)
- CV/resume, documentation of past projects/initiatives
- Well-written application statement, clear goals and objectives for conference attendance
- Statement of career goals, examples of past impact, proposed conference contributions
- Letter of recommendation from supervisor, mentor, or colleague
- Student ID, proof of enrollment, proof of recent gradution (if applicable)
