Dr. Irene Andia Biraro
Andia Biraro is a senior lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. She is also an Honorary Scientist at the Medical Research Council/Uganda Virus Research Institute (MRC/UVRI) Uganda Research Unit on AIDS. She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate studies and carry out clinical care of patients on the medical wards in Mulago hospital, particularly on the infectious disease wards. As a lecturer, she carries out health research mainly in the field of Tuberculosis.
