Makerere University, in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence for Sickle Cell Disease and Neglected Tropical Diseases, EnRiCH and SPARCO, invites stakeholders from education, health, civil society, and community organisations to a one-day engagement meeting focused on tackling sickle cell disease (SCD) in school and community settings. The meeting will bring together clinicians, researchers, educators, policy makers, caregivers and patient representatives to share knowledge, discuss challenges and identify practical strategies for improving care, awareness and support systems.
